Landslide speed

Small landslides are often over within minutes. They tend to be shallow (< 2 m). Large landslides continue slowly for periods of years or even centuries. They are deep (10 m to several 100 m).

Landslide speed
Substable, very slow 0-2 cm/year
Low activity, slow 2-10 cm/year
Active or slow with rapid phases >10 cm/year
