In our research, we focus on cold mountain ranges and processes that result from the interaction between climate and the land surface. The related research topics are on glaciers, permafrost, geochronology, and natural hazards. Special emphasis is on impacts from ongoing atmospheric temperature rise on glaciers, permafrost and slope stability.
