Costs of Alpine Hazards - CONHAZ Report

The EU FP7 project ConHaz - Costs of Natural Hazards with partners from the UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain and Austria also contained a work package "Alpine hazards". The final report assesses methods for the evaluation of past and possible future losses for the hazards floods, debris flows, landslides, and snow avalanches. The main aims of the report were to identify research needs and suggestions for the methodological improvements. During a workshop held in May 2011 participants of all Alpine countries discussed the results and formulated end-user needs as well as recommendations.
