Flowing

Flow processes (e.g. mud flow)

Flow processes consist of continuous spatial motion. Tightly configured sliding surfaces form temporarily during the motion. These surfaces do not normally persist but break up again due to the sequence of movement. The speed distribution of the moving mass is similar to that of a viscous liquid.
